Impulse NGO Network (INGON)
Impulse NGO Network (INGON), a 37 year old organization originating from the
vibrant landscapes of North-East India, was founded in 1993 by Hasina Kharbhih.
With a mission to combat the challenges of people on the move unsafe migration, exploitation, and human trafficking, INGON has since expanded its reach, bridging interventions across the eight North-Eastern states of India and North Bengal and forging collaborations and partnership and scale out in bordering nations such as Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Thailand.
The Impulse Model
The globally acclaimed Impulse Model, central to INGON's strategy, earned recognition from the Global Development Network with the Japanese Most Innovative Global Development Project Award from the World Bank in 2012, highlighting its comprehensive impact. This recognition paved the way for the model's replication and scale out to countries like Myanmar, Nepal, Bangladesh and Thailand.
Impulse Empower Incubation Hub
This incubation hub nurtures innovation that carries forward Impulse NGO Network’s 37-year legacy and Impulse Social Enterprises 18 years of impact across 8 states in Northeast India, North Bengal, and 5 neighboring countries—India, Myanmar, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Thailand.
At its core is the Impulse Model, a proven approach to scalable innovation and social change. Through Journey With Purpose (JWP), the Hub enables philanthropic support by providing Entrepreneurs in Residence who drive reinvention and sustainable development solutions within the framework of Impulse Model Prevention.

It has been meticulously crafted with a noble purpose in mind—to combat human trafficking and various pressing social issues to carry forward the 37-year-old vision and mission of the Impulse NGO Network legacy.
This sanctuary is not just a place to rest your head; it’s a platform for the youth, a canvas for their talents, and a thriving marketplace for their dreams. Artisans from the Impulse Empower ecosystem are selected to produce an exclusively curated product line for the resort sold proudly through Lam Lynti’s retail outlets.
